Is it possible for an individual that has gone out of being to come back into again? The English Aristotelian, Thomas White, argued is not. Hobbes disagreed and used the case Ship Theseus argue individuals have may again. This paper provides first systematic account their arguments. It doubtful a consistent against White. Still, his criticism prompted White clarify views on identity over time in later work.
